Love the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series? You’re not alone. We can’t get enough of these legal visual novels’ larger than life characters and their improbable courtroom twists. Now, via Bluesky, Capcom has revealed that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (an HD remaster of the first three games) has sold over five million copies across all formats.

“We want to thank everyone who has gone through all the trials and tribulations to seek the truth and deliver justice for all! We couldn’t have done it without you!” the official Phoenix Wright account adds. Hurrah! The bad news? Capcom has still yet to announce a new Phoenix Wright game.

Between the various Ace attorney collections, virtually every title is playable on current platforms and a recent Steam leak suggests the Phoenix Wright / Professor Layton crossover will be making its way to PC. The last new Phoenix Wright game however, was released in 2016.

We have our fingers crossed that this milestone will spur Capcom to resurrect the series. The company has recently mentioned bringing back old IPs and given the franchise’s popularity (there are movies, shows, comics and so, so much fan art) it’d be foolish not to at least consider it.

In the meantime, if you’ve yet to experience the joys of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy, it’s currently heavily discounted on Steam, alongside the other collections.
