Pre-orders are now live for the Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio
It’ll soon be two years since Metaphor: ReFantazio launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, impressing RPG fans with its thrilling combat and engaging politically-driven story. Soon, even more players will be able to enjoy it, as it’s set to launch on Switch 2 this November. If you’re keen to jump in, pre-orders have just opened.
Multiple versions of Metaphor: ReFantazio are available for you to pre-order from the eStore on Switch 2, with prices starting at just £34.99/$39.99 for the standard edition. If you opt for one of the snazzier versions available, you’ll find that they come with extras such as a digital artbook, soundtrack and strategy guide, as well as varying amounts of DLC.
While we don’t have a full review of Metaphor: ReFantazio, we did share some impressions, stating that it “keeps you glued to the screen thanks to its engaging story full of twists, and a world that just begs to be explored.” That’s likely to remain the case on Switch 2, only now you’ll be able to play it in a more versatile manner, which is handy for a long game such as this.
