Try out Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy for free thanks to a limited time Steam demo

Announced earlier this year and coming to PC and consoles in October, we’re rather looking forward to getting our hands on Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy. A survival horror with a strong voice cast and a soundtrack composed by the legendary Akira Yamaoka, there’s a lot to be excited about. And if you want a taste of it, you don’t have to wait: there’s a free demo available right now on Steam.

There’s a catch, though: it’s only available until next Monday, 14th September, so don’t sleep on it too long if you fancy giving it a go. Head on over to Steam, make sure you’re signed in to your account, and press the “Join playtest” button to get access to the demo straight away.

Of course, the demo won’t allow you to play the whole game, but it’s enough to get a good taste of what to expect. Developed by Stormind Games, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy promises to offer up authentic old-school survival horror. Think Fatal Frame, Resident Evil or Silent Hill, with an original story and plenty of scares and puzzles waiting for you along the way.

If you’d rather wait for the full release, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy will be available on 27th October across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC. But we think we won’t be able to resist a peek at the demo in the meantime…
