What Does Error Code 315306 Mean in Diablo 4?

If you’ve been excited to jump into Diablo 4 this weekend but have been met with error code 315306, here’s what you need to know.
Diablo 4 is officially out in the wild today – at least for those who gained early access via purchasing the Deluxe or Ultimate edition of the game. And for many, they’re able to play without any issue. But some unfortunate players have been met with an error code. Diablo 4 error code 315306 states that the game has been unable to find a valid license for the game. But what, exactly, does that mean, and how do you fix it?
Blizzard has no official explanation of this error code, but we do know it relates to Diablo 4 servers. If you see error code 315306, it means that the servers are not live, or you don’t yet have access.
If you’ve purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate edition, no matter where in the world you are, you should be able to access the game no problem. But if you are still getting this issue, we recommend exiting the game, restarting your PC or console and trying again.
However, if you do not have the Deluxe or Ultimate edition, you’ll need to wait until Tuesday 6th June until Diablo 4 launches fully.
We’ve also found that if you use account sharing on PlayStation or Xbox consoles, you may not be able to use the early access. You see, it seems the early access provided with the premium editions of the game is tied to an account. So if you share your games with a friend or family member who signs into the console that’s set to be your “home” machine, they likely won’t be able to make use of that perk. In other words, they’ll need to wait until 6th June before they can play the game – or purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate edition themselves.
