What Does ‘Healthy’ Mean in Diablo 4?

Diablo 4 review traveling_drysteppes_dd_002 (1)

There are lots of stats and descriptors for characters and enemies in Diablo 4, one of which is “healthy”. Read on to find out what healthy means.

You’ll become familiar with a lot of different terminology as you progress through Diablo 4. Much of what you’ll see will be tied to weapons and pieces of armour you’ll pick up: they’ll offer various buffs to your character, and negative effects to your enemies. One you’ll see a lot is “healthy”. Maybe a piece of armour will offer you an extra bonus if you’re healthy. Or maybe a weapon will deal extra damage to healthy enemies. But what exactly does healthy mean in Diablo 4?

In Diablo 4, “healthy” refers to a character or enemy that has more than 80% health remaining. So while your character has a full or almost full health bar, you’re classed as healthy. And until you’ve reduced their health bar by 20%, an enemy will be classed as healthy.

If you have any affixes on your equipment that affect either yourself or your enemies while healthy, those affects will last until your health/HP bar reduces to below 80%. At that point, any bonuses will end.
