How to Fight Lord Zir in Diablo 4
Originally the boss for the questline added during Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of Blood, Lord Zir is now an optional boss players can go up against to get valuable loot. Sometimes they might need to beat him in order to progress the season journey, too. But how do you fight Lord Zir in Diablo 4?
To fight against Lord Zir, players first need to progress to World Tier 4. That means growing in power until the game’s two capstone dungeons can be completed. When on World Tier 4, players can then find Lord Zir in The Darkened Way, a location just to the east of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks. Players won’t be able to fight against Lord Zir, however, unless they have some Exquisite Blood in their possession.
To obtain Exquisite Blood, players need to complete World Boss and Legion Events on World Tier 4. Unfortunately, 9 vials of Exquisite Blood are required each time you wish to fight against Lord Zir, so you might have to spend a considerable time watching out for World bosses and Legion Events to appear.
When you have 9 Exquisite Blood and are ready to fight against Lord Zir in Diablo 4, simply head to The Darkened Way. Inside, battle your way to an area called the Ancient’s Seat; there, you’ll eventually find an altar on which to place the blood and summon Lord Zir. Be careful as he’s a fearsome opponent, capable of dealing some real damage. Overcome him, however, and you’ll find that he can drop some good loot, including many useful uniques and even a helm cosmetic.
