How to Leave a Dungeon in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Lilith

Are you unsure of how to leave a dungeon in Diablo 4 once you’ve completed it? Here’s what you need to know.

When you’re deep in a dungeon in Diablo 4, back-tracking all the way back to the entrance on foot can be a bit of a pain. In Diablo 3, the end of a dungeon is always signified by a pillar that, when you interact with it, transports you back to the dungeon’s entrance. There’s no such thing in Diablo 4, so how do you leave a dungeon?

There are two ways to leave a dungeon in Diablo 4: you can warp to the dungeon’s entrance via the map, or open up a menu to find a “leave dungeon” option. Both have the same end result of taking you back to the start of a dungeon.

The easiest way is to open up your emote wheel by pressing ‘up’ on the d-pad. You’ll find the “leave dungeon” option to the left: select it, then wait a few seconds without pressing anything while you warp. Hey presto: you’re back at the entrance.

Alternatively, open up the map by pressing the touchpad on a PlayStation controller (or the ‘view’ button on Xbox). Move your cursor until it’s over the entrance to the dungeon, and select it. You’ll have the option to warp there.
