Capcom has announced that the recently released HD remaster of the Resident Evil remake is its fastest selling digital title in history across North America and Europe.
Even more impressive is that it has also become the biggest selling day one digital title in the history of PSN.

Released on 20 January, Resident Evil HD is a remaster of the Gamecube remake of the original Playstation horror classic which appeared in our list of the top 10 horror games.
On the back of this success we can now only hope to see some of the other classic Resident Evil titles getting the remaster treatment.
