Skullgirls developers unveil a new title, Indivisible

Lab Zero Games, the developers of Skullgirls, have announced an exciting looking new title called Indivisible – a new action RPG inspired by classic titles like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid. If the announcement trailer is to be believed, it looks to be shaping into a lovely side-scrolling adventure.

Drawing on Southeast Asian mythologies among several others, it is a 2D hand-drawn RPG. The protagonist, a girl named Ajna, embarks on an adventure – a quest if you will – to discover the truth behind her mysterious abilities in a story that spans the globe and, hopefully, tugs on our heartstrings.

The game’s music, as seen in the announcement trailer, appears lovingly crafted and has been nurtured by the masterful Hiroki Kikuta, known for his work as a composer on the critically acclaimed title The Secret of Mana.

Ajna’s quest will be fraught with many dangerous beasts and terrible foes. She will need all the help she can muster from the multitude of brave adventurers she will encounter over the course of the game. Side by side with these unique heroes, she will have to master strange new abilities, learn to traverse new environments and tackle legions of tough enemies seeking to stop her in her quest for truth.

If you wish to support this title an IndieGoGo campaign and a playable prototype will be available early September with a scheduled release of 2017.
