Fallout 4 Far Harbor Trailer Released

It promises the biggest land mass of any Bethesda DLC so far.

Automatron and Wasteland Workshop were a little light on content, and in the end they received a lukewarm response. Frankly, they’ve been appetisers for the main course, Far Harbor.

The official description states: “In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”

As you would expect, there’ll be a great number of quests and an even greater number of tough decisions for you to make. The higher levels of radiation mean that new “Lethal Creatures” roam the island and they’ll make what you’ve witnessed so far in the Wasteland seem like cutesy, huggable plushies. New higher level armour and weapons will be up for grabs, whether you’re plucking it from the robotic hands of a synth, or the claws of a terrifying new enemy. Brand new dungeons also lurk beneath the surface of the island, and you’ll be making friends (or enemies) with a variety of new settlements too.

As Far Harbor has more content, you’ll be expected to fork out more cash. It’ll set you aside £20 or $25 if you don’t own the season pass, and if you do happen to have the pass, sit back and relax, you’ll be off to a haunting new holiday destination soon.

Far Harbor is released on the 19th of May, and it certainly won’t be the last DLC. Bethesda have mentioned that there’ll be more content coming later this year, and speculation states that E3 could be their next showcase.

Far Harbor is out on 19th of May for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
