Guerilla Games has delayed their open-world-mecha-dino adventure for the PS4, pushing its release back to February 28th, 2017.
According to the developers, it needs the extra time to live up to the “ambitious vision” for the title. Fair enough, it’s not a huge delay, and I’d rather they take time to polish off the robotic wildlife and crumbled ruins of the ‘old ones’ than give us a Horizon that’s not quite as stunning as everyone expected it to be.
I expect we’ll be seeing more of Horizon: Zero Dawn next week at E3, so make sure you check back to GameSpew’s dedicated E3 page during the big event as we’ll be providing juicy coverage throughout that you won’t want to miss.
Update: According to the Playstation EU blog the release date is set for March 1st (3rd for UK). This may, or may not be an error, but either way, these dates aren’t far from the original announcement.
If you don't find Ed desperately battling through Dark Souls, you'll probably find him adding an extra sparkle to his beloved FromSoftware shrine. Off screen, he loves to play badminton and binge watch anime.
