Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2 has received a short teaser trailer today before its world premiere on 8th June.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much – or really anything (unless you are a fan of mobile phones and back pockets) – and Ubisoft is obviously waiting to show off everything on 8th June. Why Ubisoft aren’t just waiting until their own E3 conference only five days later is unknown. One can only hope that Ubisoft is pushing Watch Dogs 2 as one of its big releases over the next year as they believe it is a step-up from the rather mixed original.
The original Watch Dogs released back in 2014 and received rather mixed reception stemming from both some poor design choices and a very bad case of being over-hyped. Although I believe that Watch Dogs did have some definite potential and a sequel could produce something great.
If you are interested in seeing more from Watch Dogs 2 before E3, the world premiere is on June 8th at 7pm in the UK.
If you can’t check it out don’t worry because GameSpew will have all the news right here so be sure to check back!
Ruaraidh - pronounced Roo-Ree - is a Scottish gamer with the name and games to prove it. He enjoys mostly everything, unless it involves exercise, and much prefers to run around inside a good, open-world RPG, being chased across the lands by a horde of monsters after his sweet loot. When he has made his escape, he will often return to the real world to continue playing anything with a good story - indie or otherwise.
