Xbox Play Anywhere Unifies Console and PC Gaming

During their E3 conference, Microsoft have just announced their new programme: Xbox Play Anywhere. It’s a system that allows gamers to simultaneously own a title on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

The first game announced to be released with Play Anywhere is Gears of War 4, coming later this year. Not only will gamers own the game on both formats, but it’ll be cross play too – so PC players can game with Xbox One players, and vice versa.

It’s pretty exciting news, and is a great step forward in unified gaming.

Oh, and Gears 4 looks awesome.
