Well here it is, the end of an era. Or at least the end of CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt getting any major updates. With the Game of the Year edition (and for once it deserves that title) releasing tomorrow, Geralt and friends get one last hurrah in its launch trailer.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition comes with the full base game, every update and DLC along with the two marvelous expansion packs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. This includes every update and bug fix pre-installed on the disc so those of you with metered or bad internet connections need not fret.
The GOTY edition doesn’t come with any new content but rather serves as a complete package to those who never got around to one of the best games of last year. The trailer goes along with this, introducing the menacing Geralt and all adventures you share with him.
Both the original and GOTY editions of The Witcher 3 will also receive another patch tomorrow (it comes on the disc for those getting the GOTY) sporting some UI improvements and bug fixes. Notorious banker Vimme Valdi also gets an apparent “makeover”. Full patch notes are available here.
