For Honor Receives a Bundle of New Gameplay Trailers

For Honor, the upcoming hack and slash-athon from Ubisoft has received numerous new gameplay trailers ahead of next weeks alpha. First up is a trio of trailers showing off an individual class from each of the three factions; Vikings (obviously the best), Samurai and Knights. Secondly we have a massive 50 minutes of multiplayer gameplay from PAX West.

The lengthy gameplay demo gives us a look at what the multiplayer portion of For Honor will actually feel like on the Dominion game mode. Dominion will be one of the five modes available at launch and is a 4v4 match where teams must battle to capture points on the map. Other modes include Elimination, where two teams of four work to eliminate the other team, Skirmish, where again two teams of four work to gain the most points by killing enemies as well as Brawl and Duel.

For Honor is set in a wartorn land where three factions rule apparent – The Legion, Chosen and Warborn. Each faction has four set classes to choose from – Vanguard, Heavy, Assassin or Hybrid – each of which differs slightly between faction. The Vanguard is the base class, well-balanced and equal in both offense and defence. In a newly released set of three trailers we get to see the Vanguard of each faction, the Raider, Warden and Kensei respectively.

For Honor releases on Valentine’s Day (because of course it does) 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. There is a three-day alpha beginning on September 15 which you can sign up to have a chance at receiving access to over at the For Honor website.
