We’re only a few weeks away from the onslaught of first-person shooter titles releasing one after the other. First, Battlefield 1, then Titanfall 2 and finally Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Who will reign supreme? Well Respawn Entertainment want to show you why they believe Titanfall 2’s new single-player mode “offers an experience like none other.”
The trailer below shows off the vision Respawn have had in creating the single-player component of October 28th’s shooter. From massive set-pieces to light-puzzle elements to quiet moments between you, your titan and the world around you the team believes they are making something no other shooter does today.
The lead designer of the single-player also states how he doesn’t want to “cage the bird” in terms of Titanfall’s unique movement system. While the titans themselves will be a big part of the story – they can speak remember – Respawn wants players to connect to the titan as if it was another thing not just a powerful extension of themselves.
Titanfall 2 releases October 28 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Will you be picking the title up for its single-player? Or are you more interested in Battlefield 1 or Modern Warfare Remastered (*ahem*, I mean Infinite Warfare).
