Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is free next week with Ubi30

If you haven’t heard by now, Ubisoft is currently celebrating their 30th anniversary. As part of the so-called Ubi30 celebrations, the company are giving away one game for free every month on Uplay. This month, 2013’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

The rather great 80’s inspired shooter will become available on November 9. Until then you can still grab the previous month’s offering, Beyond Good & Evil, for free. While Beyond Good & Evil’s going-free period coincided with the announcement that it would be receiving a sequel, Blood Dragon unfortunately never has.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon released as a smaller, spin-off title of the Far Cry series and, as such, was a shorter experience – but many thought it was better for it. Oozing with as much style as it is with neon lights and synth soundtrack’s, Blood Dragon is certainly a unique experience within the repetitive nature of Far Cry games.

From November 9 you can claim your free copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon over at the Ubisoft website. Until then, you still have time to claim Beyond Good & Evil.
