Before the game’s launch in April, PC players can sign up to an open beta of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. It’s not entirely sure why you have to sign-up – it is an open beta. No matter, all players who sign up will be able to play two missions from February 3.
The missions include ‘Cut Off’ and ‘Blockout’. As expected, from any self-serving sniper game, you’ll be conducting many of these missions at a distance – although you are free to get up-close-and-personal if you wish. Cut Off has the player infiltrating a communications compound and repostitioning a sattelite array while Blockout sees you dealing with a good old-fashioned war criminal – the joys of being a sniper, huh?
Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games, does ask players to provide feedback from the beta – that is what they were originally for after all – and hopes players enjoy the “new beginning for the Sniper: Ghost Warrior” series. The title was delayed late last year so CI Games had more time to make the game “live up to the expectations of fans” and provide as much polish as possible.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will launch on April 4, 2017. You can sign up to the PC open beta here.
