The Nintendo Switch approaches, leaks are abound and people are getting in trouble with the law. Well, it’s maybe not that dramatic but the Switch did just lose one of its, relatively few, launch titles. Assuming anyone will be playing anything but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
However, if you were excited to pick up a copy of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, you’re going to have to wait a little longer now. Nicalis, who is publishing the game on the Switch, announced yesterday that, while the game is still set to arrive in March, it won’t be for the big launch of Nintendo’s new console.
Nicalis co-founder, Tyrone Rodriguez, said “we were unable to confirm the revised release date until now (due to issues way beyond our control).” The team did, however, announce that the physical retail edition of the game will be getting perked up with some extra goodies including an instruction booklet – when’s the last time you saw one of them? The physical edition is not available in the UK.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will now release later on in March for the Nintendo Switch.
