Microsoft have today launched their Xbox Spring Sale, discounting over 350 games, apps, movies and more.
Some games, including both Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, have been discounted by up to 50%, with Xbox Gold subscribers able to save an additional 10%. Stand-out deals include Battlefield 1, Dishonored 2, Bioshock: The Collection, The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition and the Dead Rising: Triple Bundle Pack, which we reviewed here.
In addition, Microsoft have added Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to Xbox Backwards Compatibility, meaning that this Xbox 360 title can now be played on the Xbox One. The much-requested title is also available at a discount, as part of the Xbox Spring Sale.
If you’re looking to save the extra 10% but don’t have Xbox Gold (which also lets you play online and gives you four free games per month) you can get your first month for a measly £1 or equivalent. Though unless you disable auto-renew, the price will then rise to £5.99 per month.
It’s also worth nothing that, while purchasing these digitally means you don’t have to fumble about with a disc, some of these titles are cheaper when you buy a physical copy. Watch Dogs 2, for example is £27.50 in the Xbox sale, but currently £21.49 from Amazon.
Nevertheless, with so many titles on sale there’ll likely be something that catches your eye. The sale runs from April 11th to April 17th.
