Ninja Theory wants your photographs. No, not those…
Ninja Theory, developer of the positively received Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, which we reviewed here, is asking players to send in their best in-game screenshots. Hellblade, available on the PS4 and PC, sees the titular Senua attempting to rescue her deceased beloved from the Norse underworld while dealing with her own mental health issues. This action-adventure features a range of striking and often disturbing locales and, utilising the game’s photo mode, players can capture images of their exploits. Aside from viewing the scene from virtually any angle, Hellblade‘s photo mode also allows you to apply a range of tweaks before saving and/or uploading your picture.

Richard has already illustrated his journey through Hellblade’s diverse environments, describing the game as “simply gorgeous”. And, going by the number of screenshots being shared on Twitter, others are as enthusiastic about using pictures to document their descent into the realm of the dead.
It’s not clear what Ninja Theory is planning to do with the screenshots, cryptically stating that it is “preparing something special.” It may be that the developers are planning on putting out an art book, though it’s also possible that your screenshots could end up tattooed across the forehead of some attention-hungry Z-list celebrity.
