If you’re yet to dive into the vast and shooty world of Destiny 2, you can now partake in a free trial to decide whether or not it’s the game for you.
Available from today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Bungie has released a free-to-download trial of Destiny 2, offering a sample of everything that the full game has to offer.
The trial will allow you to complete a campaign mission in two of Destiny 2′s worlds, the European Dead Zone and Titan, both of which are available for you to explore fully. You can also jump into PvP multiplayer in the Crucible quickplay, and join in a Clan or Fireteam. You’re able to level up your character as far as level 7, and any progress you make in the trial will be available to you should you decide to unlock the full game.
So, it’s not much, but it’s a great way to find out if Destiny 2 is for you if you’re new to the franchise. For more information on the trial, visit the official Destiny page. The trial is available to download now on Battle.net, and the PS4 and Xbox One stores.
Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a particular soft spot for indie adventures, roguelikes and puzzle games. If she's not gaming, she's probably got her nose in a book, and you can find her bookish musings on her blog at What The Book. She's also freelanced in several places, writes about Lego at That Brick Site, and is constantly thinking about new projects she'll undoubtedly quickly abandon.
