With codes for the game being included in Xbox One X press kits, whether or not Destiny 2 would receive some form of enhancement for Microsoft's new console has been a talking point.
Thankfully, Bungie has seen fit to no longer leave gamers in the dark on the matter, and on its website today has confirmed that Destiny 2 will not only receive Xbox One X support, but also PS4 Pro support too.
Arriving alongside Season 2 and the Curse of Osiris expansion on 5th December, both consoles will be updated with HDR lighting. Meanwhile, on the resolution front, the PS4 Pro will run Destiny 2 at adaptive 4K, while the Xbox One X will run the game at native 4K. Basically, Destiny 2 will look nicer than ever before, though it'll still run at 30fps.
So, if you've still not picked Destiny 2 up, it looks like early December will be the best time to do so if you've got either "premium" console.
