5 of the Best Hearthstone Brawls so far

Boom Bot vs. Annoy-O-Tron

Boom Bot vs. Annoy-O-Tron was one of the first brawls where players didn’t choose a class that to play as. One player was randomly chosen to be Boom Bot and the other, Annoy-O-Tron. Player decks were mostly made up of mechs from the most recent expansion at the time, Goblins vs. Gnomes.
In this brawl, Boom Bot’s hero power was to deal two damage randomly split among all enemies. Annoy-O-Tron’s hero ability was to give your lowest attack minion divine shield and taunt. According to many players at the time, Annoy-O-Tron’s ability was much more powerful. What likely kept people coming back was the determination to master both classes.
A Cavalcade of Brawls!

A Cavalcade of Brawls was chosen to celebrate Hearthstone’s 100th tavern brawl. It was a mix of nine previous brawls. Each class chosen was assigned to a certain brawl and that player is stuck with those rules for the entire game.
For example, if you chose druid you were stuck with the rules of Idols of Azeroth – discovering a spell or minion with each raven idol you play. If you chose priest you’d be stuck with the rules of Cloneball! — a brawl where you’re given four copies of seven random legendary minions.
The fun of A Cavalcade of Brawls was that there was still that element of randomness but you got to choose how much random you would be dealt each game. It was a one of a kind brawl for sure.
Unite Against Mechazod

Unite Against Mechazod was the first ever co-op brawl featured in Hearthstone’s weekly brawls. In this brawl, two players work together to defeat Gearmaster Mechazod. Each turn Mechazod will switch to the opposite side of the board allowing the players whose turn it is to attack him. Mechazod doesn’t attack physically but instead casts a spell each turn that harms one or both players.
At the beginning of each game, each player is assigned either the class priest or paladin and they both use special pre-made decks to try and defeat the boss. Unite Against Mechazod did return to Hearthstone tavern brawls once more but the title was changed to Return of Mechazod. Along with this, one of Mechazod abilities were changed as well as players having to win, rather than just participate, against the boss in order to receive their reward.
Many of Hearthstone’s brawls are fun, crazy, and memorable, but these are some of the best brawls that have been released so far.
One brawl that didn’t make my list — “Encounter at the Crossroads” — has been repeated seven times in the weekly brawls so far but doesn’t, in my opinion, seem to stand up against those mentioned above. You may have noticed that all of the brawls above give random decks to players, and that’s because no-one likes build-your-own-deck brawls. Are you listening, Blizzard? No one.
