Here’s Everything Announced at Xbox’s E3 2018 Press Conference

Didn’t manage to catch the stream from Xbox’s E3 2018 press conference? Don’t worry, we’ve got everything you missed right here.

Hold on tight, folks. This is going to be quite the ride: We’ve got 50 games, 18 exclusives, and 15 premieres coming up throughout the conference. Holy moly.

First off the bat was the announcement of Halo Infinite. It’s powered by the ‘Slipspace Engine’, which sounds fancy. We’re told it’s to be Master Chief’s greatest adventure yet to save humanity.


We got a brand new trailer for Ori and the Will of the Wisps. It looks beautiful.

We got a trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, from FromSoftware and Activision. It looks a lot like Nioh – and that’s no bad thing. It’s not a PlayStation Exclusive after all!

Fallout 4 is now on Xbox Game Pass!

We got an exclusive trailer for Fallout 76. It’s a prequel to all other Fallout games. It’s four times the size of Fallout 4, set in hills of West Virginia. It seems like your usual Fallout experience.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a new game in the Life is Strange universe by Dontnod. Coming to Xbox Store 26th June, and will be free. Free!

Finally, a good look at Crackdown 3. Terry Crews hamming it up! It sure looks like Crackdown. Looks like a lot of fun. It’ll be coming February 2019. We hope.

Nier Automata Become as Gods Edition is coming to Xbox One on 26 June. It includes DLC, and it’s Xbox One X enhanced.

Metro Exodus gameplay shown. Looks like more Metro. It’s coming on 22nd February 2019. Man, February’s going to be busy.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to Xbox One – but we knew that already. Didn’t we? Gummi ships are back! There’s a Frozen world, so get ready to sing along. It’ll be out on 29th January.

Sea of Thieves is getting new content. Cursed Sails is coming in July, and The Forsaken Shores, is coming in September.

As EA promised yesterday, we got a look at Battlefield V Nordlys gameplay.

Huzzah, Forza Horizon 4 is coming on 2nd October! It’s set in Britain. It features dynamic seasons, a 60fps mode on Xbox One X, seamless co-op, and a new ‘quick chat’ feature. Every season changes the world around you, and seasons are synchronised for all players. In winter, bodies of water freeze, opening up new racing possibilities. New seasons bring new events. Wheeee, you can drive through walls! It’s included in Game Pass, and it looks awesome.

Microsoft has a new studio, The Initiative. It’s made up of world-class talent to create new gaming experiences.

Oh, and Microsoft has been busy buying up studios too. Undead Labs, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, and Compulsion Games, developer of We Happy Few are now part of Microsoft Studios. That’s a lot of money being thrown around. Nice buys, Microsoft!

We got a new trailer for We Happy Few. It’s finally releasing on 10th August 2018.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is getting a new war mode and new environments. Winter 2018.

Tale of Vesperia Definitive Edition is coming this winter. It’ll include new content and characters brought west for the first time.

The Division 2 has been unveiled! Set in Washington, we’ll be fighting to prevent a civil war. We got a good look at some gameplay – it looks very much like The Division, but with more varied environments – it starts in woodland.

Xbox unveiled a new feature: Fast Start. Apparently, it’ll allow you to start your games quicker. It’s coming in the June update later this month.

Game Pass buzz! Ashen, Warhammer Vermintide 2 and more will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day of release.The Division, Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited and Fallout 4 join Game Pass today.

Fringe Wars, Afterparty, Below, Conquerors Blade, Waking, Raji, Super Meatboy Forever, Islands of Nyne, Sable, Harold Halibut, Bomber Crew, Children of Morta, The Wind Road, Wargroove, Generation Zero, Dead Cells, Ashen. We think that’s them all. It was a lot of games. Some we’ve seen before, but there’s lots of cool-looking stuff in there.

We got a new trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We’re still excited to play it.

Session, a new skateboarding game was shown off. It looks… like a skateboarding game.

We got a trailer for Black Desert. It looks pretty fancy if you’re into MMOs.

Hoo boy, here’s Devil May Cry 5 from Capcom. Dante’s back, with just as much spunk as ever. It looks mental from the trailer.

Cuphead is being expanded. The Delicious Last Course coming in 2019. Hooray, more gorgeous-looking side-scrolling torture for us to endure! I jest. We love it really.

We got a new trailer for Tunic, that foxy indie game that we first saw last year. Everyone loves a fox protagonist.

Jump Force, a new fighting game from Bandai Namco was announced. It’s an anime mashup, featuring characters from Naruto, Dragonball, One Piece, Death Note and probably more.

Dying Light 2 announced. A new vision of the apocalypse – the modern dark ages. Choices will have genuine consequences; everything can change depending on your decisions. It even features a functioning ecosystem. How you interact with the many factions in the city will affect resources. Undead are still seemingly a threat after dark though.

Battletoads is making a comeback in 2019 with co-op and 2.5D graphics.

Just Cause 4 officially announced. Looks like a Just Cause game alright. Seemingly now has a weather system though.

Gears Pop announced. A collaboration between The Coalition and Funko. Coming in 2019, but it’s a mobile phone game. Sad faces all around, because how cute are those Gears Pop figures?

Gears of War 5 was announced. Kate has become the protagonist, and it looks like it takes place a number of years after Gears of War 4. The trailer showed off enhanced melee combat, new enemies and new environments. It’s set for release in 2019.

Microsoft has announced that it is working on providing console quality streaming on any device. Don’t worry though, it is also working on the next Xbox hardware.

A Cyberpunk 2077 trailer has finally been shown. Give it a watch, it looks rad as hell.
