As you drive around the UK in your first few hours of Forza Horizon 4, you may find yourself thinking, “have they got rid of Skill Songs?”.
The answer is no. But now, you have to do some work to unlock them.
Anyone that has played Forza Horizon 3 will know that Skill Songs are great. They let you earn double skill score for the duration of a whole song, allowing you to create skill chains that award you with multiple skill points at once. And you’ll be wanting to earn skill points in order to buy perks for the cars that you own.
As mentioned earlier, Skill Songs are no longer available from the outset of the game. Now, you need to play for a while until you can unlock them.
To unlock Skill Songs, you need to have 750,000 credits available. When you’ve got the credits to spare, find The Huntsman’s Lodge which is in the middle of Lakehurst Forest and buy it. There’s a picture of its location below to help you track it down. As well as unlocking Skill Songs, buying The Huntsman’s Lodge will also grant you three Super Wheelspins, which are sure to net you some valuable goodies. All in all, it’s a good buy. And remember, the Timeless Classics radio station is best for maximising the benefit of Skill Songs due to the long length of many of its tracks.
