Calling all intrepid explorers! Rebellion’s brilliant co-op shooter Strange Brigade is getting a free update next week, and with it is coming a brand new difficulty mode and a photo mode.
Landing on Monday 26th November, the latest update will bring Extreme Mode, a new difficulty mode adding an extra layer of challenge to the game. Extreme Mode will be available in Strange Brigade‘s story campaign. I’ll likely pass… it was challenging enough as it was, but it’s great news for people who aren’t quite as wussy as me!
More excitingly, though, is the news that Strange Brigade is getting a brand new photo mode. It’s one thing the game missed at launch; the game’s beautiful surroundings beg for a photo mode, and it seems Rebellion has heard my cries. Presumably it’ll only be available when playing single player since you need to pause the game, but it’ll be a great way to capture the adventures of Gracie, Archimedes and co.
The photo mode will contain a number of filters and frames, along with allowing you to adjust settings like aperture, focal distance and field of view.
Monday’s update to Strange Brigade will also add three new levels: ‘Great Pyramid II’ and ‘Afterlife II’ will be added to score attack mode, and ‘Void’ will be added to horde mode.
And for players who own the season pass, the final instalment of Thrice Damned will land the day after, on Tuesday 27th November. It’s a great excuse to jump back into The Strange Brigade. And if you’re yet to pick it up, it’s currently only £16.99 on Amazon. Bargain!
