Is it time time to return to Fallout 76? Quite possibly. The Wastelanders update, its largest yet, launches next week on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
On April 14th, Fallout 76 is likely to get a lot more appetising for many. The Wastelanders update is set to introduce a new main quest, as well as new choices, companions, a reputation system and ‘more’. And yes, included in that ‘more’ is human NPC’s.
With the Fallout 76 Wastelanders update, players will be able to forge alliances with new factions introduced to West Virginia, and uncover secrets either alone or with friends. It basically seems like it will make the game a lot more like Fallout we know and love, which can only be a good thing.
We didn’t think much of Fallout 76 when it launched back in 2018. In fact, we hated it, awarding it a shocking 2/10. We’re willing to give it another go when the Wastelanders update lands though, and are hopeful that it’s much improved.
