Remember the best piece of DLC for Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina’s Assault in Dragon Keep? Well, it’s now available as a standalone adventure.
It’s been stealth-dropped onto storefronts today as a prelude to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which is set to release early next year. It originally released back in 2013, but we have no qualms in saying it’ll be just as entertaining today. It tells a completely standalone story, set in a world of knights and dragons – with more than enough Game of Thrones references (remember Prince Jeffrey?) to keep you chuckling from start to finish.
Retitled as Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure, it’s out now on PS4, Xbox and PC, priced at £7.99 or your local equivalent. It’ll offer around three hours of entertainment. And if you’ve never played it as part of Borderlands 2 before, you’re in for a treat. Even if you did play it when it first launched, we’d argue it’s about time to dip back in.
Even better: if you’re a PC gamer, you can download it for free on Epic Games Store from now until 16th November. Click here to claim it.
The trailer, which you can watch below, promises new heads, new rainbow chests and more – but for the most part, this is going to be the same ridiculous adventure we loved back in 2013. Oh, and you get to see Claptrap in a wizard’s hat. Surely that alone is enough to sell you on it?
We’ll have more on Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure soon. Until then, check out the trailer below, and find it on your storefront of choice.
