MMORPG TemTem Hits PC and Consoles This September

TemTem

TemTem, an MMORPG that’s inspired by Pokémon, is leaving Early Access this September.

To be fair, there are more than a few Pokémon-inspired titles out there; you can check out our list here. But TemTem does something a little different – it takes the Pokémon concept and turns it into an MMORPG so that everyone can capture, train and battle monsters together.

Hang on, though… isn’t that the whole point of Pokémon? Yes, and that’s certainly the case with the anime cartoon. But Pokemon Go aside, the games have generally been single player first, multiplayer second, so TemTem has filled a much-needed niche.

September 6th will see TemTem get a full release, including the additional of its “final” island. But even when you’ve finished its story campaign, there’ll be more to do. Crema plan on adding additional content, including a Battle Pass which will have “free and premium award tracks.”

Published by Humble Games, TemTem will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It’s set to retail at around $44.99/€39.99/£34.99 and will be also be available as a pricier digital deluxe edition for €59.99.

In fact, it’s also in Early Access on PlayStation 5, so you can pick it up right now but you won’t get TemTem’s final update until it launches this September 6th. Or, if you want to go all out, you can order a collector’s edition, complete with statue, for $99.99, alongside a wealth of other merchandise.

Weekend Editor // Chris has been gaming since the days of the Acorn Electron, which was allegedly purchased to 'help him with his homework'. You can probably guess how well that went. He’ll tackle most genres – football titles aside – though he has a taste for games that that are post-apocalyptic, horror-oriented or thought provoking in nature.
