Beatstar is Getting a Multiplayer Mode Very Soon

Beatstar Multiplayer

Great news for Beatstar fans: a major new mode is dropping very soon, allowing you to compete against other players.

Mobile rhythm game Beatstar had a new update drop yesterday. Along with gameplay improvements and new songs, the latest version of Beatstar also lays the groundwork for an upcoming multiplayer event.

The details on the event are scarce, but here’s what we do know. You’ll be playing against other players from around the world competing to win prize tokens. Win in a head-to-head battle – presumably by getting the highest score – and prize tokens will be yours.

Those prize tokens seem to be a new type of currency. With them, you can unlock “exclusive new songs and rewards”. We like the sound of exclusive new songs! We’ll have to wait and see what the rewards are, but we imagine banners and emotes.

You’ll be playing “curated songs from your favourite artists” – so we’re not sure if you’ll only be able to play songs you own, or if others will be available during the event.

We expect the multiplayer event to be live in Beatstar within the next week or so, so watch this space. We’re looking forward to jumping in and experiencing a new way to play.
