PowerWash Simulator isn’t done by any stretch of the imagination, with more content on the way over the course of the next year.
Developer FuturLab has already released free PowerWash Simulator Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII packs and there’s plenty more to come. You will have to pay for some of the content but we’ve got such a kick out of this clean-em-up that we’re prepared to pay for some more muck-annihilating goodness.
In fact, we won’t have long to wait. Next Tuesday, April 18th, sees the release of The Muckingham Files, which adds some new jobs. You’ll powerwash a solar water plant, a satellite dish and more, all as free content.
And in terms of paid DLC? FuturLab has yet to divulge the precise details but we’ve got our fingers crossed. We’d pay stupid amounts of money for Fallout: New Vegas DLC. We wouldn’t say no to cleaning Mass Effect’s Citadel, either.
New locations aside, the Muckingham Files update also adds little story elements. We’re not yet sure if that’ll include Croft Mansion. But if it does we’d like to know how Lara let it get in such a mess.
The roadmap, which you can find here, reveals that there’s a chunk of paid DLC dropping in Q2, Q3 and Q4 2023. There’s also more free content coming in Q3 and seasonal content in Q4. We’re guessing we’re going to be cleaning up Santa’s workshop.
PowerWash Simulator is out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PC and Game Pass. It’s currently digital-only but a physical release is coming in June.
