Think SpongeBob SquarePants is a crazy PowerWash Simulator crossover? The first person clean-em-up is coming to the Warhammer 40K universe.
Announced at yesterday’s Warhammer Skulls showcase, PowerWash Simulator will have you cleaning up the futuristic 40K universe. We hope that’ll involve water blasting at least one Tyranid-infested Space Hulk.
We say “hope”, because developer FuturLab has yet to provide more than the merest teaser. “As humanity stands at the edge of what could be its darkest age, could you wash away the grime to reveal a brighter future?”, reads the Steam Store blurb.
Yes, it’s silly, but that’s what makes PowerWash Simulator’s crossovers so much fun. And the contrast between this titles daftness and Warhammer 40K’s over-the-top gloom could really work.
There were a handful of other announcements at Warhammer Skulls, too, one of which was a Warhammer racing game, Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freaks. We’re also looking forward to tackling that one, even though it does seem like it’s stepping on Bloodborne Kart’s toes.
You can watch the full Warhammer Skulls presentation here, which runs at around fifty minutes. As for the PowerWash Simulator Warhammer 40K crossover, going by developer FuturLab’s roadmap, it’ll be arriving, at the earliest, in the third quarter of the year.
And if you’ve not played PowerWash Simulator, it’s on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PC and also Game Pass.
