The Talos Principle: Reawakened now has a release date and a Steam demo

We knew that a reimagining of Croteam’s The Talos Principle was on the way, but now we have a release date. Players will be able to jump into The Talos Principle: Reawakened, the definitive edition of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning puzzle game, on 10th April. Even better, it will be available not only on PC, but also PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on the very same day.

There’s good news for those who can’t wait to go hands-on with The Talos Principle: Reawakened as well, at least on PC: a demo is available right now as part of Steam Next Fest. Not only does this demo allow players to tackle a curated selection of the game’s puzzles, it also lets them try out the puzzle editor, putting themselves in the shoes of the creator. Needless to say, a lot of fun can be had with it.

Aside from sporting dramatically enhanced visuals thanks to being powered by Unreal Engine 5, The Talos Principle Reawakened promises new quality of life improvements and accessibility features, ultimately bringing into line with the recent The Talos Principle 2. What’s likely to be most enticing for fans of the original game, however, is the introduction of an all-new story chapter.
