The first games showcase of the year is almost here: New Game+ Showcase airs on 8th January
A new year is upon us, and we have 12 whole months of new games to look forward to. With Christmas and the festive period behind us, January can be a bit of a downer. It’s cold, we’re all back at work or school after a couple of weeks off, and generally everything sucks. To help us through, the New Game+ Showcase airs later this week, highlighting some of the great games coming later this year.
The New Game+ Showcase is a new entry into the gaming showcase calendar. A creator-led showcase, it’s designed to give developers and publishers an equal stage. No paid placements; just games that the team behind the showcase are genuinely excited about. We can expect a mix of indie and AAA games to be highlighted during New Game+, and some of those can be spotted in the hype trailer below.
We can’t name every game in the trailer, but we do know that the lineup includes The Eternal Life of Goldman, Atomic Heart, The Division, Denshattack and a whole lot more. Some of those have us very excited to find out more.

Fancy watching the New Game+ Showcase for yourself? It airs this Thursday, 8th January at 9pm GMT / 4PM ET / 1PM PT. We’ll certainly be tuning in, and we’ll be following up on any exciting announcements on Friday.
