Vampyr, a bloodsucking RPG from the makers of Life of Strange, drops to less than £5

Looking for a game you can really sink can your teeth into? Feeling a little let down by Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2? Then Vampyr is the game for you and, from now until late February, you can snag it for as little as £5.
From Dontnod Entertainment, developer of Life is Strange, it casts you as Dr. Jonathan Reid, a physician whose desire to do the right thing, and to help others, is marred by the fact that he’s now a vampire. On top of his, or rather your, current state, London is also gripped by a plague.
Naturally, there’s plenty of slaughter in this ARPG, but your decisions can have a serious impact. Aside from a handful of black and white choices, there are other, greyer conundrums to deal with, too. For example, do you report the nurse who’s stealing from your hospital even though she’s using those resources for good?
We gave Vampyr an 8 out of 10 in our review, stating that, some aspects of the story aside, its “..elements are so wonderfully crafted that it … remains a compelling experience.” That was when the game was full price; at less than £5 it’s an absolute steal. Since launch, it’s also received a current-gen console upgrade, making it prettier than ever.
Vampyr is discounted across all platforms, with the biggest price drop on Xbox, where it’s just £4.94. It’s £6.99 on PlayStation, £7.19 on Nintendo Switch and £7.00 on PC (via GOG).
