Not one, but two State of Play events have been announced for this Thursday
If you’re a PlayStation gamer you’re in for a treat, as Sony has just announced that State of Play returns this week. Even better, that’s going to be immediately followed by another State of Play. So that’s two State of Play events back-to-back, in which there’ll be new game announcements and more.
Mark Thursday, 3rd September in your diary, as that’s the day that both State of Play events will air. The first of the two kicks off at 2pm BST / 6am PT, and will feature updates and announcements from PlayStation studios and third-party partners. As usual, most of the finer details are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that the show will end with an extended look at the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
Straight after that, State of Play Japan will then begin. Once again hosted by Yuki Kaji, this will offer a closer look at games coming from studios based in Japan and Asia, and will feature new game announcements and more.
If you own a PlayStation console, then, they’ll both be worth checking out to see what you’ve got to look forward to in the weeks, months and perhaps even years ahead. Just note that the first State of Play will be in English with Japanese subtitles available, while the State of Play Japan will be in Japanese with English subtitles available, and you’ll be able to watch them via YouTube or Twitch.
