PowerWash Simulator is getting Shrek content in October
Just when you’d thought you’d cleaned everything up, Shrek comes along with yet more work for you to do. That’s right: the next paid DLC for PowerWash Simulator has been announced, and it’s Shrek themed.
The Shrek Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator launches 10th October across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC, and whether you’re a fan of the Dreamworks property or just love cleaning things virtually, chances are you might want to pick it up.
The Shrek Special Pack features five fantastical new locations for players to employ their powerwashing skills. They are Shrek’s Swamp, Duloc, Fairy Godmother’s Potion Factory, Dragon’s Lair, and Hansel’s Honeymoon Hideaway.
Each location will provide its own challenge thanks to their unique nooks and crannies, and once you’re done you’ll be able to appreciate their splendour, as ever. And of course, as you work, you’ll receive messages from some familiar faces, either giving you a chuckle or spurring you on to do a great job.
There’s something strangely satisfying about removing layers of digital grime and dirt – and we imagine that will remain the case in this DLC. It won’t break the bank either, with a price of just £6.50. Add in the fact that you can enjoy cleaning alone or with others in co-op, and you’re onto a winner.
