Previous Xbox exclusive Grounded is leading the PS Plus Monthly Games for June
With May coming to an end, we have a new suite of PlayStation Plus Monthly Games to look forward to. Sony has just announced the service’s games for June. It’s a strong selection, with all three games having a PS5 version and two of them available to PS4 gamers, too.
Leading the way is Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, available on both PS4 and PS5. Originally an Xbox exclusive game from Obsidian Games, this survival adventure sees you play as a shrunken-down human surviving the perilous environment that is your own back garden. Fight off giant-sized ants and monstrous spiders while crafting armour, weapons and supplies to help you survive.
Next up is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, also available for both PS4 and PS5 players. If you enjoy Super Smash Bros. style action, you’ll get a kick out of this one: a range of Nickelodeon characters go up against each other to battle out for supremacy. Play with others or go up against the CPU to battle opponents in a range of well-designed 2.5D environments. Take Rocco against Spongebob, or Ren and Stimpy against Garfield.
Finally in June’s trio of PS Plus Monthly Games is Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. This one’s only available to PS5 players, and if you’re a fan of co-op action shooters, it’s one well worth checking out. We dived in at launch, and were really impressed with its outstanding visuals, particularly on PS5 Pro.
All three PS Plus Monthly Games will be available to add to your account from 2nd June, and you’ll have all month to claim them.
You’ve still got a few more days to claim May’s PS Plus Monthly Games if you haven’t yet. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols remain available to add to your account until 2nd June. And if you’re yet to claim EA Sports FC 26, you’ve got an extended period to grab it: it will remain part of PS Plus Monthly Games until 16th June.
