FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods is having a network test this August
Since its reveal last year, FromSoftware has been quiet regarding The Duskbloods, its upcoming multiplayer action game exclusive to Switch 2. Today the studio has revealed that some players will be able to go hands-on with it in August, however, thanks to a network test version that will allow access at various times during the month.
The upcoming network test for The Duskbloods will kick off on Friday 21st August, with those lucky enough to take part able to play between 11am BST and 3pm BST. The game will then become available to testers on 22nd August at 3am BST to 7am BST and 7pm BST to 11pm BST, on 23rd August at 11am BST to 3pm BST, and finally on 24th August at 3am BST to 7am BST again. If you’re in a different timezone, you can find the adjusted times on the official The Duskbloods website.
If you’d like to take part in the network test for The Duskbloods, you’ll be able to sign up starting from next Wednesday, 22nd July at 3pm BST / 7am PDT. Applications will then close on Tuesday, 28th July at 2:59pm BST / 6:59am PST, with notifications going out on Friday 7th August at 2pm BST / 6am PDT informing those who have been lucky enough to be selected to take part.
Being a Switch 2 exclusive multiplayer action game incorporating PvP and PvE elements, you’ll of course need a Switch 2 console to take part in the network test, as well as active Nintendo Switch Online membership. If you’re successful, you’ll be able to take part in multiplayer matches in which eight players compete against each other to complete objectives.
Just be aware that as well as engaging in challenging fights, you might also have some battles with the game itself – this is a test of the game’s networking, after all, so there might be some issues. If you’re okay with that, sign up as soon as soon as you can to be in with an increased chance of being able to play The Duskbloods early.
