Love Amazon’s Fallout series, based on the game series of the same name? Want to cosplay as Lucy’s terrible, terrible father? Then you’ll be pleased to hear that Fallout publisher Bethesda Softworks has, as part of QuakeCon 2006, opened pre-orders for a die-cast replica of Hank MacLean’s gold Fallout Pip-Boy 3000.

Without giving too much away, it’s a copy of the device that Hank (played by Kyle MacLachlan) wore during the course of Fallout Season 2, when he was getting up to no good. Dubbed the Pip-Boy 3000 MK V Die-Cast Replica Overseer’s Edition, aside from looking serious snazzy, it also boasts 15 screens and animations from the show, sound effects included.

On top of the Pip-Boy itself, there’s a ‘Brain-Computer Interface Implant Chip self-assembly kit’, the gizmo that Hank used to bend people to his will. You know, because he’s just the worst. But, terrible as Lucy’s father is, I can’t deny that this is a seriously cool piece of kit, and it’s a big step up from the plastic replicas that came with the Fallout 4 Collector’s Edition.

The catch is that it’ll set you back $299.99, excluding postage. That’s not cheap, though we’ve seen collector’s editions that came close to that price tag. If you’ve got the funds and/or the burning desire to declare yourself overseer of your office, you can pre-order the Pip-Boy 3000 MK V Die-Cast Replica Overseer’s Edition for delivery in November.
