The Wolf Among Us Remastered gets an October release date
With us firmly reassured that The Wolf Among Us 2 is still on the way, we’ve got something else to look forward to in the meantime: The Wolf Among Us Remastered. Announced earlier this year, we now have a release date for it. And the good news is that it isn’t all that far away.
It’s been revealed that The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch digitally on 29th October. As for the formats it will be available on, it’s a bit of a weird one. It’ll be available on PS5 and PC, of course. But it’ll also be available on Xbox One, playable on Xbox Series X/S via backwards compatibility. And a Switch version has been added into the mix, too.
Whether or not there will be enhancements on Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2 consoles beyond the usual resolution and performance gains remains to be seen, but we hope so. In any case, The Wolf Among Us Remastered will include an all-new Noir mode, allowing you to make it more moody than ever. There’s going to be over an hour of bonus content, too, ranging from cast interviews to playable deleted scenes.
With a gripping story spread across five episodes, this remastered version of The Wolf Among Us should be appealing to both existing fans of the game and newcomers. There’s even good news for those who like their games physical. While The Wolf Among Us will only be available digitally on 29th October, physical editions are planned to release in early 2027.
