Bethesda may have teased a new Wolfenstein game

The one without the date.

Bethesda gave a little briefing just before the conference kicked in, with this screen showing a bunch of files. Note the Wolfenstein chronology taking us from Wolfenstein 3D through to the latest Wolfenstein offerings: New Order and Old Blood. Wait what’s that? New Colossus? We know Machine Games are likely to be working on a new Wolfenstein, and Bethesda seem to have given us the title but kept the date away from prying eyes.
How do we know it’s probably a new Wolfenstein? The New Colossus is a sonnet recited by the main protagonist BJ during the end of Wolfenstein: The New Order and in an interview with Polish TV (translated here by Eurogamer Poland), Alicja Bachleda-CuruĹ› who played Anya Oliwa in Machine Games’ The New Order said she was working on a “second one” that would come to light in a couple of years.
It’s also worth noting the last two entries in the screenshot. Bethnet could be a reference to a new marketplace or Bethesda game library of some sort, much like Origin and Uplay. BE3 could refer to Bethesda at E3, or something else entirely.
It really is a trifecta of speculation, and we love it.
