Release date revealed for The Last Guardian at E3 2016

Fans of Team ICO’s Shadow of the Colossus will be excited to hear that the next big thing the team has to offer, The Last Guardian, has finally been given a release date. That’s right folks, The Last Guardian will be coming to your PlayStation 4 on October 25, 2016.

The game still looks beautiful and is bringing many of GameSpew’s own contributors to tears with excitement. From what little we heard from the teaser shown during the Sony conference, the soundtrack seems to add quite a heartwarming feel and the graphics are quite reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. The scenes shown from the game featured beautiful animals/monsters as well as shots of the gorgeous main little boy character.

Check out some screenshots below:

Here’s hoping that Team ICO can deliver us a great after all these months of waiting!

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
