The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Looks Incredible

10/10 grass physics.
We all knew this was coming, but no-one expected to be so taken aback by the majesty of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Link can now scale mountains and towering ancient structures; He can grab an axe and chop down trees to scramble across chasms; He can grab a bow and hunt for food and materials; We see him make a rustic dish on the barby. And then it gets even better. We’re drawn to the glowing aura of the book strapped to his belt, and all of sudden he’s conjuring building materials out of thin air and using them to his advantage; either by dropping them on enemies or using them as nifty jumping blocks. Even the new physics engine is shown off, with Link setting fire to grass and watching it spread, and pushing a boulder, causing it to topple down a cliff edge and crush two unsuspecting enemies.
The world looks stunning, with a new mountainous locale revealed towards the end that’s in stark contrast to the lush flora of where much of the gameplay seemed to be set now and before. It’s certainly expanding it’s RPG repertoire to fit this ambitious open world and surely is a must-buy for the Wii-U and NX, both for long term fans and fresh converts.
