Another video tape surfaces, and this time, we see a woman scramble away from a scary, looming figure who calmly paces their way towards us in pursuit. We’re back in the dilapidated, spooky-as-hell plantation so it seems that’ll be our main location throughout Resident Evil VII, suggesting a more condensed – yet content rich – experience than previous titles in the series. What’s more, it’s a genuinely scary affair reminiscent of Amnesia and P.T, as we flee and hide in heart-thumping first person.
Resident Evil VIIÂ looks set to release on January 24 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
