Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel DLC Trailer
It seems to be the time of the year for video game leaks. Small parts of Dark Souls 3’s upcoming DLC expansion Ashes of Ariandel have been released over the past few days, now we get the full trailer. The first of two DLC’s for Dark Souls 3, included in the season pass, will release on October 25 for all platforms.
Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel takes place in a new location covered in snow and defiled by some evil corruption. The DLC will of course include new weapons, armour and magic for players to wield and attempt to survive with. For those players who enjoy Dark Souls’ PVP Ashes of Ariandel will also include a new PVP-focused mode – possibly like Dark Souls 2’s arena’s.
As always, the trailer looks (and sounds!) absolutely fantastic although those wanting to stay completely oblivious may want to avoid it. Some quick glimpses are given at new enemies – and quite possibly bosses – and those wanting a fully fresh experience will have to take my word on how good it looks. From Software rarely let us down with their expansions and Ashes of Ariandel looks to be no different.
The DLC will be available on October 25 for £19.99 as part of the season pass or an unannounced price individually – presumably around £12.99.
