Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection Announcement Trailer

Ubisoft just couldn’t go a year without an Assassin’s Creed game could they? Thankfully Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection bundles together what many people consider the peak of the franchise – namely the second and third titles – when Patrice Désilets was at the helm of the series.
The collection includes Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations remastered for Playstation 4 and Xbox One (no PC) with “enhanced graphics”. Some people who have watched the trailer say that they don’t notice any improvement in the graphics but this handy NeoGAF thread proves them wrong. Honestly, did Assassin’s Creed 2 actually look that bad!?
The unfortunate news is that for whatever reason – whether the “improved” graphics or Ubisoft’s laziness – The Ezio Collection only runs at 30fps on both consoles. It’s certainly a nostalgic trailer – especially so with the soundtrack – if you ever played the original trilogy but honestly I’m not seeing too much reason to go back. Especially with the amount of remasters coming out in the next few months; Batman: Return to Arkham, Bioshock: The Collection and now this…
The collection comes bundled with all single-player DLC for all games as well as Assassin’s Creed Embers and Assassin’s Creed Lineage, a set of four short films further digging into Ezio’s background. No multiplayer is included.
Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection is available November 17 for PS4 and Xbox One for a yet unannounced price. American buyers will also receive tickets to the Assassin’s Creed movie coming out this December.
