Silence is a gloomy adventure game about love and sorrow

Daedalic Entertainment’s new adventure game, Silence, releases today. It tells a story of a young boy, Noah, and his younger sister Renie. When attempting to hide from an air raid, Renie is lost in Silence; a place between both life and death.

The world is not all that it seems however; towns have been attacked and destroyed by evil creatures and the only hope is a small band of rebels. The game is a sequel to Daedalic’s 2009 title The Whispered World – although no prior knowledge is needed to play Silence. The team hopes to tell a story of loss and anguish that is overcome by the siblings love for each other and those around them.

The developers also focused on creating likeable characters alongside a beautiful art-style that is a step up from the prequel’s 2D origins. You can see more in the trailer below and Silence is available on both GOG and Steam.
