ByRuaraidh Dempster 2 January 2017

A new year means new games and Sony is throwing its cards on the table immediately. Playstation’s latest trailer reveals 23 of the biggest and best games coming to its console this year… with a few mistakes.

The montage included footage from upcoming Detroit: Become Human and Media Molecule’s Dreams. Two titles which have no confirmed release date and Playstation President, Shuhei Yoshida, quickly confirmed weren’t meant to be present on the reel.

The rest of the montage included games from all avenues of Playstation’s format. Farpoint and Starblood Arena rallied the flag for Playstation VR. Various remasters were present in the form of PaRappa the Rapper HD and the Wipeout Collection. As well as the expected mascots for the coming year; Horizon: Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0 and, of course, Knack 2.

Ruaraidh Dempster

Ruaraidh - pronounced Roo-Ree - is a Scottish gamer with the name and games to prove it. He enjoys mostly everything, unless it involves exercise, and much prefers to run around inside a good, open-world RPG, being chased across the lands by a horde of monsters after his sweet loot. When he has made his escape, he will often return to the real world to continue playing anything with a good story - indie or otherwise.
